The ideas in your 2 posts (dated 31 Jan) are somewhat confusing.

end of WWII using quite harsh tactics. Jumping from that reality to
seeing Israel as God's prophesied kingdom seems like a stretch.
Indeed, reasonable people can wonder if God really uses such means.

Next to this, you argue that Israel is marvelously effective in
science and technology (largely as a result of US largess) and thus
needs greater giving from the US. While I am broadly in favor of
charity, that argument is non-sequitur.

There is some reason to see Israel as an ally. There is also ample
reason for the US to maintain the ability to function even despite the

I absolutely agree. No foreign aid to anybody, including the cesspool of
sub saharan bongo drumming african countries and the moslim towelheads,
particularly egypt and arabia. . Our goverment is spending 30 billion
dollars a year in foreign aid.

The problem is that when someone says cut off aid to Isreal, it
