Default Help with Wurlitzer 1800

Hi, I got a Wurlitzer 1800 but it has a problem. I have order the
manuals but wanted to see if anyone had a solution so I can work on it
this weekend.

I insert coin it registers on the switch in the coin box. A motor
turns just above the switch and the add solenoid pulls in moving one
tooth on the spocket. But that is all. The latch bar solenoid does
energizes nor does the make selection light come on. I check the plug
going from the coin box to the back of the mech and all seems good for
continuity. I see that it comes out of the mech on the front side on 2
plugs. I do not know how the circuit is supposed to work so any help
would be great. Thanks for reading.

So it DOES, or DOESN'T energize the lock bar solenoid? The way you described
it doesn't make sense.
I'm also trying to remember what kind of service switch an 1800 has.
Sometimes it's as simple as that.

My bust on the typing. It does not energize. It's not the service
switch either because it did work then stopped suddenly. Thanks for
writing and hope someone might have an idea so I can work on it this
weekend. If not i will try when the manuals arrive.
