think there is a problem with it, not sure..
Need to know if it plays in stereo or do i have
to hook up 2 external speakers to get it to play
in stereo.
I know there is a switch on one of the pc boards
that is for mono..stero and S stereo. But it does not
change the way it sounds..

Thanks
Kevin

it SHOULD play in stereo from out of the jukebox speakers.

I dont know about this model, but "mono" setting
is usually used when you want to use one channel of the amplifier for
the jukebox speakers
and the other channel for remote speakers (usually in another room, or
the beer garden etc)

This allows you to use a volume control with each channel - so as to
have totally separate
control over each of the 2 areas.

When you are using the juke on its own, you dont need this, so the
juke will run in stereo from a single control.

IIRC NSM remote controls (wired) had 2 separate slider pots that could
be mechanically linked
internally, or separately to perform this function.

If the juke doesnt sound any different when switching between mono/
stereo, then

1 1 channel of the amp may be faulty so the owner connected both
channels to the good side of the
amp to keep it working.

2 Machine was set up for external speaker use, and removed from
location without speakers being connected
back to jukebox (stereo) mode.

3 you are using mono CD, or the audio leads have somehow been linked
together etc. (not very likely)
