Default Help! Large Date vs. Small Date, Ira?

I just bought a 1960 Proof Set and a 1970 Proof set. In each of these years
there were a large date and a small date type of Lincoln cent. I am unable
to tell with any certainty which I have, although I am sure they are the
more common variety. Are there any other diagnostics to look for on either
variety. Any help would be appreciated.

What I look for in the 1960... If the top of the 9 is higher than the
top of the 1, you have a large date. In a small date, the tops of the 1
and 9 are at the same level (or the 9 might be a tad lower).

Can't vouch for the 1970, but the redbook shows a low 7 (compared to the
0) means large, and a high 7, small.

On the 1970 Lincoln Cent...Look at "LIBERTY" on the small date it is
very weak. Especially RTY. Very tough to spot a small date by the date
alone. If you have both large and small date side by side, you'll see
what I mean.
