VANPEX 2005 Announcement

BC PHILATELIC SOCIETY PLANS VANPEX 2005

VANCOUVER, BC (Dec. 14, 2004) – VANPEX 2005, the annual stamp
exhibition and bourse presented by the British Columbia Philatelic
Society, is scheduled for November 11-13, 2005 in Richmond, BC, a
suburb of Vancouver.

VANPEX organizers are planning for a 180-frame exhibit; approximately
30 bourse tables will represent dealers from across Canada. Exhibitors
at both regional and national levels are invited to submit
applications.

The show will be held in a new venue, the Executive Airport Plaza
Hotel & Conference Centre, 7311 Westminster Highway, Richmond, just
minutes away from Vancouver International Airport by airport shuttle
or taxi.

Because the show begins on Remembrance Day, doors will not open until
noon and will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

In recognition of 2005 as the 60th anniversary of the end of the
Second World War, show organizers are encouraging exhibits related to
both military and civilian aspects of the war. Seminars and
specialists' society meetings related to philately of the Second World
War are also being planned.
