Yes, he of the very strong jaw line.
They were the times when one could easily differentiate between the parties.
Imagine meeting Kevin down the pub.

In my student days, the father of one of my classmates lived in that
suburb, and owned a pub nearby that was much frequented by Arthur
Calwell ...

Yes indeed - tho' remember our Kevin has ventured into a nightclub at
least once.

And as for Arthur Calwell, imagine if he had kissed your baby. He
might have rubbed off - nasty thought

Oh dear, your humour certainly brightens my day
Arthur was a smart looker when young, but it was all down hill after that.
An older Arthur would have scared the baby, I'm sure.

I remember before buying our home, we were renting a Govt abode,
and it had the budget "head and shoulders" mirrors throughout.
In the new mansion with full length mirrors, I got out of the shower the
first morning and had a start!
Who was that large fat balding man in the bathroom with me?

I had a haircut (if it could be called that, perhaps 'hair cut' would
be more appropriate) yesterday. Very nasty shock when the hairdresser
held up the mirror so I could see the vast gleaming expanse at the
back. I have one shaving-side mirror in the bathroom - that's quite
adequate, thank you. I suppose I could see myself in it when stepping
out of the shower, but I refuse to bathe with my glasses on.
