Default 1892 French Grammar by A.P Huguenet - do you know the value?

Hello!

Few days ago I found an old book in my attic :

HOSSFELD'S
New practical method
For learning the
FRENCH LANGUAGE

by

A.P. HUGUENET

London:
Hirschfeld Brothers
Breams Buildings, Fetter Lane, E.C

1892

I have not found out anything about it in the Internet, I wonder if
you know what is the value of this antiquarian book.

Greetings from Poland,

Adam

If searching on line, be advised that most antiquarian
book dealers do not consider textbooks worth
including in their stock.

Unless, of course, the author/editior achieved fame in some other
field, as in the case of C.S. Lewis, or Tolkien. Even their most
academic stuff is of interest to some collectors.

Hi Adam:

Do a search on
http://used.addall.com . You will find two copies for sale.
These are asking prices, not actual sale prices. I note that only one of the
two does not list co-authors. So I would infer that that is the older one. The
dealer notes that the preface to that copy bears the date 1899. Check the
preface of your copy, as you may have an earlier edition. In determining value,
condition is very important.
