rockola 491-1 sound problem
when i first got this 491-1 rockola the amp had all the fuses blown
adding new blue them right a way when turning it on.purchased a used amp at ebay,sound now works but its still not as i feel it should.i also hear the top right side speaker is not clear as the left.even thought the volume is cranked all the way up,it still just seems not right.what can i do to fix this,,thanks |

This was not a good year for sound quality in Rock-Ola Land. However, you may have one or more shorted speakers. Use a VOM to check across the speaker leads with the harness disconnected. Don't remember off the top of my rusty ol' head what the impedance and DC resistance should be, but you have two identical sets of speakers that should match. |
