$1 $2 $200 $500 And $1,000 FRNs
I just thought I would post a message here saying that I may be sending a
letter to congress on redesigning the $1 and $2 FRNs, issuing a new $200 FRN, and reissuing the $500 FRN, and possibly the $1,000 FRN. I didn't mention the Balto idea in the letter for those of you who make remarks about it. I know the $1 and $2 FRNs should be scrapped, but until then, I would like to see new $1 and $2 FRNs that match the NexGen designs of the higher denomination. Tom |

I may be sending a letter to congress on redesigning the $1 and $2 FRNs, issuing a new $200 FRN, and reissuing the $500 FRN, and possibly the $1,000 FRN. Throw in a paragraph calling for the elimination of the cent, and for making a $1, $2, and $2.50 coin, wood ja? 8-) Coin Saver |

Hey Coin Saver, no offense meant toward anyone but, what is with people and
wanting a $2.50 coin? That denomination seems too odd to me, athough for some reason, I wouldn't mind a $25 or $250 bill. I know there were $2.50 coins before, but I just don't like the ammount having change with it. But it wouldn't be to bad if we could get the half circulating again. (-: Tom |

what is with people and wanting a $2.50 coin? what is with people wanting a 25¢ coin? look at a money comparitive: COIN NOTE 1¢ $1 - $2 5¢ $5 10¢ $10 - $20 25¢ - 50¢ $50 - - $1 $100 $5 - $10 - $25 - $50 - See the gaps? We need to either eliminate the $2 or make a 2¢ coin; eliminate the $20 or make a 20¢ coin; eliminate the 25¢ or make a $25 Note; and we need a $2.50 coin / $250 Note combination, and we need a 75¢ coin / $7.50 Note combination, and a $500 Note, $1,000 Note, $2500 Note, and a $5,000 Note, or eliminate our gold & platinum coins. That, or just leave it as it is. 8-/ Coin Saver |

Actually, I sort of like the idea of a $25 bill. Can't say why; maybe it's the four-quarters-to-a-dollar idea carried over to bills.
