Default First strike question

I have just received my UHR via UPS next day air and it was left on my
front porch.

My question is how much should a PCGS First Strike slab add to the
retail price if, or perhaps I should say when, I, or my kids decide to
sell it. Is there any recent history of the added value of this designation?

Assume zero.

To those "in the know". I see First Strikes routinely pulling a better
price on eBay auctions. Yes it is all bullcrap but not everyone is aware.

There is a good blog and a lot of angry reader comments about recent
Mint stupidity regarding valuable shipments left on door steps, dropping
signature requirements, and other avoidable security problems:

http://coins.about.com/b/2009/02/17/...ity-breach.htm

What amazes me is the glowing pride with which the Mint boasts of its
next day shipping "free upgrades" for expensive packages, next to its
fencepost-dumb circumlocution and denials of urgent requests for
ordinary signature and hold services such as offered by US postal
service.

Hey, I thought it was early release now not first strike, or did that
mess never cleaned up in court?
