Default Slight surface scrape?

As nice an error as it is, that "slight scrape" pretty much ruins the value
and is a bit more than "slight".

others' opinions?

Looks like quite a bit of bronze is "missing" to me!

I am reminded of the New Yorker-style quotes reporting the death of someone
from near-fatal injuries! Such errors are of little interest to me, but even
if I were interested I just don't think I could take much pleasure in owning
even a rare stamp that is so badly damaged. Am I weird? No, don't answer
that!

If anyone has a US Scott C3a that they feel that way about, I'll be glad to
give it a home. g
