Default Strange eBay Auction

While browsing around a little bit ago, I happened on to an auction that had
no photo. Since only peanuts are involved, on a whim I decided to take a
chance.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=30379893 19

Do you see anything "fishy" in this thing? I thought it really odd that
more than fifty people had viewed the auction (if the counter is accurate)
and it only had that one bid for .01 before I made my bid.

$5 is pretty steep for shipping for a .06 item.

Ha! Yessir, I couldn't agree more! I just thought, "Oh, well. With a total
outlay of $5.06 for this item, I won't be hurt bad even if this is something
other than what it appears to be.

I agree that 5 dollars is REALLY steep. But is the coin is what he says it
is, you might be OK.

I would have been tempted to ask the seller about condition.

Yep, that is good advice, and is something that I frequently do when there
is something that isn't clear. However, there were only a few minutes left
in the auction when I happened upon it, so that was not something that I
could do this time.

Larry,

Don't worry about the steep $5 s/h...the question is: Is it worth $5.06?
I would have been tempted to ask the seller about condition. ie: How many
holes does it have in it? Or, can you see through any parts of it? Or, does
it have scalloped edges?
Just a guess, I bet it's worth $5.05 :)

Looks like just a way for the seller to sell cheap items and not give ebay a large FVF.
