I have these Austria, #1 & #2 single & pair. They seem too good to be
originals so was wondering if they may be reprints ?

Just because they look fresh does not make them necessarily reprints.

What does MICHEL have to say, to definitively make them other than original?

It is not the freshness. It is the paper and appearance of the print.
The value tablets are far too neat.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing anything about gray paper either...

Well, thanks for all the info.

I'm still none the wiser as I really do not know if they're actually worth
anything, whether they're counterfeit, etc.
I have just come into some more as well, so was wondering if anyone knew
where I could find any information on them.

Mark.

I read somewhere, (possibly here) that one should always,
in the first instance, assume the lowest status of a stamp,
until proven otherwise.
Taking that in hand, perhaps now a good idea/reason to join a stamp club
and ask there?, pop in with samples to your nearest stamp vendor,
seek out advice on specialised sites on the web?

If you do establish the marque, post back here with your findings
and reasons, and tips, and we can all benefit.
