IS LEAF RUINING THE CARD BUSINESS?

You know I only collect Pettitte's but I have to say lately I get the idea Leaf
is going to ruin the card business. About a year and a half ago I had most
cards made of Pettitte but I never was lucky enough to get a black 1/1. Those
days are long gone thanks to Leaf because they are much cheaper than they used
to be and much easier to get there are so many. In the new 04 Leaf cert cuts
there are a good 17 1/1's of Pettitte's. At times I thought you know that's it,
in just one set there are 30 some inserts of his, either player collectors are
going to have to stop collecting or sellers are going to have to sell much
cheaper than they used to. Sure alot of sellers like selling overseas but if
too many of these cards go there and player collectors can't get their cards
anymore they will probably stop collecting. I saw a 1/1 w/ an asking price of
$500, those days are long gone they just aren't worth that much there are so
many. We wonder what's happening to the card industry, in the many sets Leaf
has put out alone this year each set has had 30 or more inserts of each
player.Not sure but I get the idea the only ones making out here are Leaf.....
