NICE CIRCULATED 1895O SILVER DOLLAR RARE DATE
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3050962424 Somebody's not paying tension. Heck, I paid more than the current bid, and felt I stole this one. Let's see some serious bidding, OK? -- Thinking about a Garrett detector? Give us a call and save some bucks http://www.stores.ebay.com/biggfredd...ist/all/dept6/ |

I suggest everyone wait for about 8 hours just to give Big Freddy the
willies. Hope you enjoy fingernails Fred. :-) "Fred A. Murphy" wrote in message ... "Bob Peterson" wrote in message ... I suggest everyone wait for about 8 hours just to give Big Freddy the willies. Hope you enjoy fingernails Fred. :-) Well, I went and bumped the current bid a little, then read this post. BTW, Fred, in my auctions the last few months, it seems that snipe bidding is stronger and more popular than ever. In the past, there were auctions that were selling way to cheap and Iwas hopeful, even expectant, of some decent late bidding, only to be disappointed. More recently, I have become so accustomed to strong, late bidding, that I have quit sweating the auctions at all. I've also had a few auctions where the bidding reached my minimum expectations just a few hours into the auction. When selling, I like those auctions the best. Bill ( I did not bid out of concern for Fred's fingernails.) "Fred A. Murphy" wrote in message ... BTW, Fred, in my auctions the last few months, it seems that snipe bidding
is stronger and more popular than ever. I have noticed the same thing. People that are interested in something don't feel compelled to bid right away anymore it seems. They just set their snipe programs to kick in near the end of the auction and most of the time an item will bring what it is worth. |

I'm not so sure it's snipe bidding but the shear volume of coins being
offered. At the moment there are 9194 Morgans listed. A search for 1895-O shows 32 listings. There are so many available there is not a need to bid early. A Sunday night a few weeks ago when I was able to get to the computer, there were 26 pages when clicking on going, going, gone. That's about 1300 Morgan dollars closing within a 5 hour window. That's over 4 per minute closing, alot of great buys. Now only if I hd some extra money. "Bill Krummel" wrote in message ... "Bob Peterson" wrote in message ... This didn't go for quite what I hoped, but it's my own fault. I didn't realize until comparing it to similar coins that no one searches for 1895O, but for 1895-O or 1895 O. I'm guessing that was a $50-75 mistake. Yeah, I know that sounds like a lot, but I've grown accustomed to getting ridiculously above-market prices in exchange for straightforward presentation and nice images. I mean really, have you looked at how lousy some people's coin images are? -- OK, so you don't like Texas Rebel Radio. So what do you know about music, anyway?
