This book titled (Personal Recollection of Joan of Arc), by The Sieur Louis
De Conte (her page and secretary) is in excellent condition. The book was
freely translated out of the ancient French into modern English from the
original unpublished manuscript in the National Archives of France by Jean
Franqois Alden. The book is published by Harper & Brothers Publishers, New
York and London, First Edition, Copyright 1896. The book is 461 pages and is
a personal account of the life and death of Joan of Arc. The book is in
three major sections: Joan in Domremy, her life in Court and while in Camp,
and her final years while on Trial and Martyrdom. This is a fascinating book
told from an eyewitness of the life of Joan of Arc. The book measures 5 1/2
inches x 8 inches. It is in excellent condition with no rips, tears,
creases, or missing pages. There are no stains and no water damage or
soiling. The spine is tight.
