Default wurlitzer 1400.

i started working on a wurlitzer 1400 jukebox. know nothing about
them. do have a manual. when i turn it on it selects the bottom record
and plays it. when i hit the cancel button it rejects but plays the
same record. i have checked all tabs and they are all reset so i cant
find out why it keeps cyling back and forth as the selector doesnt hit
anything when it turns. give me your ideas please. thanks for the help
on the ami-g-200. have it mostly working all the way. really has a
gret sound. thanks to you all. norm

No, that's not wobble switch, it would keep scanning but not repeat.

If you are -sure- that the pin for that record has been put down, and
the arm point that touches it is not touching the pin, push that arm
back and forth slightly to see if it has become sluggish due to dirt-
old oil-etc.

It is also possible that the micro switch that the arm actuates in the
center of that assembly has gotten stuck, but most likely it is the
linkage or oil that has become gummy.

I had this problem on a 2300S and it was a PIA to effect a permanent
fix.

Sorry, I should have read more carefully, Phil is right about that
mech, the wobble plate is the likely cause on there.
