What when the "True First" is an audio book?
"John A. Stovall" wrote in message
... I found this interesting. It is write as a novel, in manuscript form. Then it is first made available as an audio book and then finally printed as a "Book". Great story. The only other one that leaps to mind is Tom Wolfe's AMBUSH AT FT. BRAGG. First published in ROLLING STONE (as was BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES, which I read in its original serialized form, when Sherman McCoy was a novelist and not a broker), its first separate "publication" was as an audio book. I just finished Wolfe's HOOKING UP, which includes AMBUSH in its first printed book form. William M. Klimon http://www.catholicbookcollector.com |
