Rock-Ola 474 Question

I just picked up this juke today. There is a red light on the amp that
comes on that says: Light on, speakers overloaded. I do not have a
clue. Any thoughts or ideas. Thanks for any help. E-mail

How bright is the light? It is not uncommon for the light to be dimly
lit under normal conditions. If it is bright, then there is an
overload, or possibly the wrong light bulb has been installed at some
time. I don't recall the proper bulb that should be in there, but
have seen improper replacements. If there is no bulb, I believe there
is no sound, so someone can replace with a low resistance bulb and get
sound, and also get bright light. If it is the right bulb, and it is
bright, there is too much current being drawn. This can be caused by
leaky cap on crossover network, bad speaker coil(s), or problems in
amp output stage.
