Default 1934 Woodrow Wilson $100,000 Gold Certificate

Assuming it is legitimate, how much would one of these be worth today?
Are they in fact illegal to possess? What should one do if they come
into possession of them?

The Treasury Department has them all. That is why they do not appear in
any catalogs.

The Smithsonian one won't be on display much longer as they are mothballing the
numismatic collection for an indefinite period of time.

If I remember correctly, the sheet of $100,000 notes displayed by the BEP at
major coin shows has all zero serial numbers - specimens.
