Default Price Check Seeburg DS 160

I've got a Seeburg DS 160 with the bat wing speakers I'm thinking of
offering in as is condition. The grill area of the box is real nice.
Glass is very nice. The sides have the usual dings and scratches. It
does need an amp and control center rebuild. They have never been
touched. I took this in on trade years ago and have never done
anything with it. Your thoughts?
Tim

If it works partially, $500.00.
If it isn't playing at all I would say $250.00 or $300.00.
The juke market stinks right now (if you are selling), and I don't see it
getting any better soon.

Part it out! The ear speakers go great on ebay, and you will get more
than the machine as a whole. I just sold a good AY on ebay this week
for $299.

Portland, Oregon. Been looking for a fairly nice DS with ears for myself.
Sold a couple over the years, would like a keeper. Let me know where you
are, and/or if you'll ship if you decide to sell at a reasonable price.

Regards,

Lanway

I agree that for sellers that the juke box market stinks right now
as has for a while. I really would hate to part this one out. It is
really nice compared to the others I've seen and done over the years.
It is because of the market I have thought about offering this box as
is. If I were to go through it and bring it back to it's original
grandar, I wouldn't be able to recoup my expenses or I would have to
sit on it after it's done and hope someone would buy it over the next
couple of years. On the other hand if a hobbiest were to buy it as is
and restore it, they would end up with a nice box for their hoime when
finished.
I have a real hard time parting equipment out. It's gotta be pretty
bad for me to do it. Once it's parted out, it's gone forever. No one
else will ever have the thrill of seeing or playing it again. Sad in
my book.
I'm in Maple Lake, MN near Minneapolis. I would like to get $400 as
is but would be willing to look at any offers. I would prefer someone
local. It would be a pain to ship common carrier and NAVL might be the
best choice. Let me know.
Thanks for the advise,
Tim Nabours
