The OP presented a valid posting. Don't even bother. "Lorrie S." is a troll, who recently posted in this newsgroup that Timothy McVey [sic - doesn't even know how to spell] was a misunderstood genius. -- Francis A. I have been to the New York store quite a few times over the years (since the 60s). In more recent years, I noticed that they also carried Spanish texts. -- Francis A. I'm not certain why they're throwing in the towel--surely there must be premises somewhere in this big city that they could afford (unless business has become so poor that it's not worth the move). As to the Spanish texts, maybe they were hoping to pick up some of the slack left when the two big Spanish-only bookshops closed on 14th Street. |
