Default How do the new Parker 51's stand up against the old?

Any opinions?

Are the newly reissued Parker 51's like a lot of modern expensive fountains
that are "all show and no go"? Do they write as well as the old ones? Do
they start up everytime like the old ones?

I really would like a Parker 51. I know I can get a vintage one for short
money. OTOH, if the new ones are every bit as good as the originals, I'd
like to go that way. This is one pen I might have my name put on.
