Parker 61 mint?
I recently discovered a fountain pen and pencil set at the bottom of a
box lot I bought an an estate auction. It is a Parker 61 pen and pencil in the original box with the original price tag and instruction manual. Both pen and pencil are in their original cellophane wrapping, though the wrapping has been opened. The pen appears never to have been used. I know very little about pens. Can someone help me with valuing this item or help me find out where to get such a thing appraised? I'd like to get a handle on how much it is worth before listing it for sale. Thank you all for whatever assistance you can provide. Adrienne |

Brian -- Yes, the group seemed to develop rigour mortis shortly after Frank Dubiel died. His slightly caustic wit and encyclopaedic knowledge seems to have been a required catalyst. -- Tony Stanford |

And unfortunately, for the time being I'm reading & posting through Google Groups -- my ISP's NNTP server stopped carrying new ACP-P messages a couple of months ago, and tech support just gives brain-dead "answers".
