Default Wurlitzer 61 Countertop Jukebox

Hello All.

I have just won an auction for a Wurlitzer 61 Countertop Jukebox. The
Seller has told me it needs a new needle and several tubes. It is also
missing the post on the top of the jukebox. Please tell me the best
needle to use to produce the best sound from this jukebox and what
tubes I will need for this jukebox. Where can I get a new post to
replace the missing one. The jukebox was restored several years ago by
a department store that used it in it's diner location. What else
should I have done now to insure the jukebox plays as well as
possible.
Thanks for your help.

Congratulations on your prize, that is a nice machine!

You should get the service and parts manual from a supplier such as
Victory Glass or Always Jukin' along with tubes and stylus (needles).
These manuals will have a parts list and diagrams of the machine so you
will have a better idea of what is missing. These also include
adjustment info.

There should be pictures that you can Google - you already know the
words to look for - that will also aid you.
