Guess what?!?

Remember my post a month or so back about finding a mono sleeve of the
frist Doors LP at the Salvation Army? Now, guess which LP I found
today! Yep- a mono pressing of the first Doors LP. Kinda scratched
up, but I buy 'em to play 'em, not sell 'em. I'm kicking myself that I
didn't buy the sleeve to begin with, and I couldn't find a blank DJ
sleeve either. I found a Longines Symphonette (sp?) opera LP that I
stole the poly-lined inner sleeve from. It works fine. Now I gotta
get the LP cleaned and tested. I picked up an opera 8 track (someone
obviously donated a crap-load of opera) to bulk erase and put this LP
on. Sweet- can't wait!

Now if you would've just bought the sleeve and waited, all would be
well...as far as having a matching sleeve/disc, anyway. Sounds like
it might be a little crackly, as most old rock LPs are. Remember,
time brings everything to those who wait...just like me laying traps
and waiting patiently for Noodles' complete destruction!
