OK I am going to risk the $8.00 and see if he will risk bad feedback if he sends a junk
coin. I probably not give a neg. even if he sends a current one cent piece I just want to
see what the gimmick is. We had someone here on RCC do something similar and the winner
got a bargain IIRC

Please report back here when you get your package. I remember the RCCer that
went for the unknown coin and got a nice Washington quarter.

I recently started collecting Canadian coins
(thanks Wayne, I haven't forgotten you), and I thought about pulling the
trigger on this auction with the hopes of getting the last four small cents
I need to complete that series, but I chickened out.

Good luck on your win,
Ed

No bargain here. 42 cents in common (I think) circulated Canadian coins.

1984 quarter
1989 dime
1981 nickel
1975 cent
1981 cent

I knew I was taking a chance on getting something like this and I did. What I was hoping
for was at least a couple of dollars worth. The bid was $1.00 and the shipping was $6.99
which he spent 4 X .37 stamps and a cheap padded envelope maybe $2.00 in total.

What kind of feedback should I leave I knew going in that I would not receive any thing of
real value? I don't think a neg. is called for but I don't think a positive is really
called for either.

What you think guys and gals?

The auction says "Guaranteed to be something good!" in this case I'd say
that's a out and out lie.

Ya got burned, and if the auction just said "What kind of Canadian coins do
I have in my pocket? Can you guess which ones?" and you then won. Well I'd
say you gambled, lost and that's how it goes. Where I think he screwed up is
with the line guaranteeing something good, and you getting plain old pocket
change.... Neg'em
