Found Some Interesting Coins

Proof the economy is not what it used to be and people are spending
rather than collecting, I found the following over the past couple
weeks....

Maine S-Mint Proof
Kansas S-Mint Proof
Vermont Colorized Reverse
1943-P Jefferson War Nickel
1944-P Jefferson War Nickel


I have also found 4 US Virgin Islands P-Mint Quarters, and a handful
of American Samoa P-Mint Quarters. Still looking for the 2009
Jefferson and Roosevelt though.

They're out there, albeit in low mintages (well, low as for current
mintages). This week's Numismatic News reports 39.8M 2009-P nickels,
46.8M 2009-D nickels, 96.5M 2009-P dimes, and 49.5M 2009-D dimes.

For those waiting for them, NN reports there will be no proof gold or
silver Eagles struck this year.
