Default McCain kicks Bush in balls on Letterman!

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is further leading Senate Republicans away
from Bush Bird's idiocy by admitting tonight that "global warming and
climate change are real, and we MUST do something about it, sooner
rather than later." This, of course, flies directly in the face of
the Village Idiot and his Halliburton Handler in the White House, who
have maintained that it's all "junk science." McCain, of course, will
have to try to beat Hillary Clinton in the '80 elections, and he's
behind in the polls, although '08 might as well be light years away to
adled brained American voters.

Watch for more moderate Republican defections from the Bushie party
line in short order as Iraq melts down even further, the economy
continues a phony "recovery" and White House personnel continue to be
indicted and tried for treasonous felonies.

In other news: Bush has hit 32% in new Gallup approval ratings,
another historic low, while Cheney has also sunk another 2 points to
17%...worst rating of any sitting president and vice president since
Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew, respectively. Even the usually "spun"
Faux News polls show Bush at 36%, 4 points below his claimed "base
number," and Faux has since stopped polling...to be expected, since
their own polls are driving Bush lower every time. It's all over for
the right wing...they're finished. The "conservative base" is
crumbling like bad concrete, McCain and moderate Republicans are ready
to join the Democrats in ecological and Iraq issues, and the loony
right will probably either stay home or vote for unelectable whack job
candidates in the mid-terms.

"Halliburton Allegations Are Sent to Justice Dept."

No-Bid Contracts In Iraq Are at Issue

By Renae Merle
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, November 19, 2005; A15

An investigative arm of the Pentagon has sent an Army Corps of
Engineers whistle-blower's allegations of wrongdoing against
Halliburton Co. to the Justice Department.
Bunnatine H. Greenhouse was removed from her position as the Corps of
Engineers' top procurement official in August after raising concerns
over the volume of Iraq-related work given to the Houston-based
oil-services giant without competition. She is appealing.
Kellogg, Brown & Root, a Halliburton subsidiary, had a competitively
awarded contract to provide logistics support for the military in the
Middle East and was awarded a no-bid contract to repair Iraq oil
fields.

The Defense Criminal Investigative Service, the criminal investigative
arm of the Pentagon inspector general, investigated her charges and
"has shared its findings" with the Justice Department, John R. Crane,
assistant inspector general, said in a letter to Sen. Byron L. Dorgan
(D-N.D.). "The DOJ is in the process of considering whether to pursue
the matter," the letter said.

"This is the first evidence that someone is taking seriously these
allegations," said Dorgan, chairman of the Democratic Policy Committee,
which heard Greenhouse in June.
Two former Halliburton workers have been charged with taking kickbacks
while working for the company in the Middle East. And Pentagon auditors
have questioned more than $1billion in costs for the company's work
there.

"The company continues to cooperate fully with the Justice Department's
investigation of certain issues pertaining to our work in Iraq,"
Halliburton said in a written statement. "As the investigation is
ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time."

There's no way the Republican majority in the House and Senate, is
going to impeach Bush. You need a reality check.

National security trumps liberal agenda, every time.

Whoever said a Republican majority was going to do it? You seem to be
assuming there will still be one January 2007.
