American Advances in Aviation FDC Offer

The Wisconsin Federation of Stamp Clubs is a nonprofit organization
founded in 1932 for the purpose of promoting the hobby. The WFSC has
produced a first-day cover for the American Advances in Aviation issue
to be released in Oshkosh, WI, on July 29, 2005. The cachet depicts a
World War II P-40 aircraft in thermographic printing. Covers will be
randomly franked with a single stgamp from the se-tenant Aviation issue
of 10 and canceled with the official U.S. Postal Service's Oshkosh
first-day-of-issue postmark.

Artwork on the cover was done by David Peterman, a native of the
northeastern Wisconsin region and frequent first-place winner of
cachetmaking competitions.
