Default wurlitzer 2810 selection problem

hello group, i am really hoping someone here can help. i have a w2810
i picked it up about a week ago, everything on it was working fine. i
started cleaning it up i unplugged the four selector switch assembly
plugs. cleaned up the whole box put selector switch back in and now i
am unable to select. the coin register seems to be working good i drop
a quarter in and it registers 5 songs. but yet when i go to push the
selection buttons they don't stay down like it doesn't know the
selection has been made. if i manually flick the free play switch i am
able to pick a song so i know that everyhting is working fine. any
ideas on what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.
thank you so much!! tim
