Default If it quacks like a duck...

Heard today on "Meet The Press":

E.J. Dionne of the Washington Post quotes this White House staffer as
saying, "If the President is trying hard not to be a lame duck....why
is hi limping and quacking so much?"

Answer: Because once the Democrats take Congress in the mid-terms, he
will be...

.....A LAME DUCK!

Other issues: Right winger Lindsay Graham (R-SC) was put on the ropes
by none other than former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and
was forced to admit that "the administration made many, many mistakes"
regarding Iraq. Pressed later by Tim Russert, Graham also admitted
that personal attack ads running on the GOP website "should be
pulled." The ad attacked DNC chairman Gov. Howard Dean for saying
"there's no way we can "win." and had white flags waving across the
screen.

Looks like the GOP is falling apart into three, seperate groups: The
hard core right wing nutjobs, the old liners and the "moderates"
mostly from blue states. Without the guaranteed support of the old
liners and the moderates, the right wing nutbags will collapse in
Congress, and the reign of terror by the "chrisonuts" and the "Iraq
hawks" in Congress will largely be over.
