I don't claim to be superior to everyone, Mr. Allan. Just you.

Hi,

From being the possibly the most desirable pull from a box Patrick Roy, once
heralded as the greatest goalie that ever lived, has been dumped in the
common bins. Now everybody is running their feet off for short-printed
Rookie Cards of players likely to play a handful of NHL games and then spend
the rest of their career battling it out in the minors.

"WHY ... THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! How can this stupid so-and-so say that!"
I can hear the angry growls all across the Atlantic. But I must have a
reason for saying this - and I will tell you why.

A month ago I opened a box of Pacific Invincible and pulled a Patrick Roy
jersey, #d 063/100. WOW what a pull! I listed the card at Beckett
Buy/Sell/Trade straight away and have posted twice on this group. I went to
a card show in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday.
I want to trade, preferably for a Wayne Gretzky jersey but will listen to
any offers. No, I don't want 20 $4 cards, I want something of similar value
that I need. And I collect a lot! Jerseys, autos, you name it. There must be
a wide rage of cards you can offer that will make me happy.
How many trade or cash offers have I received? Have a guess!
A hint ... I have asked four different Roy collectors and three Swedish
dealers who usually take trades like these if the know they can make money
from the deal.
I will make it even easier for you ... How many reasonable offers have I
received?

The answer is the same to both questions: NONE!

Conclusion: No-one is collecting poor old Pat Roy any longer.

I have a non-SP RC of Heavyberry Shinklebumper. He cannot skate but found a
souvenir stick with his Frosties last Sunday. $20 offer anyone ... no, no,
no please try to calm down, form a line. Let's hear. $21 anyone? $22? I hear
$23....

Hope everybody is having a great time collecting!

Robert

PS. The Roy card is still available, just in case you're wondering

You may wanna Contact these people???????????? Need I say More THE
