Hi Tony,
I faintly recall seeing this one on Stefano perhaps.
I'd have a guess initially as a chrity label from Montenegro.
I'll have a bo peep through my cinderella images.

Thanks Rod.

It seems that as soon as I work my way through a bag of Russia, someone
sends me another truckload, and there is always one that drives me nuts.

Hey, I read you loud and clear
My unidentifieds always reside at the top
of my images in my folders, they do become annoying.

Perhaps to kill two birds with one stone, here is my query
that shares the same genealogy I would suspect,
perhaps, if members looking at/for yours, may recognise mine.

Here is my poor shot at translating Rod's stamp.

16-07-1948 Ukrainian
National (Rada) ????
20 Post 20

Kiev (Trudovin) ???? Congress

However, It lacks the CCCP of stamps
of the USSR and no currency unit is
mentioned (eg kopecks or karbovanets).

There were 3 sets.
(1) perf - No watermark (cheapest)
(2) IMPERF - No watermark
(3) perf - WATERMARK.

Rodney's stamp is from a set of 6 issued Dec. 1, 1948 by the
Ukrainian National Council in Munich for use in Ukrainian DP
Camps in Germany.

I think I see a 'Karb' underneath the two sets of figures of value
