TECH: ROCKOLA 477 MAX

Hi All -

I acquired a Rockola 477 Max recently - It powers on with lights, the
display is blank and nothing happens when quarters are placed in the
machine. Can anyone give any advise except manuals -

Any good books or websites out there that can help other than manual?

I do not know of a site that contains repair logs, FAQs or Q&A on repairing Rock-Ola jukes. This is about as good as it gets... unless you have an uncle or brother-in-law who was in the business during the 80's.

At any rate, I will assume that you do not have power to the logic or that it is defective, since you do not have displays and coining the machine does not appear to have any effect.

Do you have a multimeter and feel comfortable using it? Do you have a good soldering pencil and feel comfortable using it? If so, there are several people, including me, that will be glad to walk you through a sequence of troubleshooting for your juke.

Otherwise, you may need to inquire about a juke repair person in your area.
