Default Tech: Rockola Jukebox

I have a Rockola Juke box modle number 5500X serial number 562070. The
buttons (0-09) and reset and so forth are not working. All I get is
push reset and a song will play. I can only get the first song to play
not any ones after that. I can though push 00 and full cd will play. I
need a manual for it as well. This is a cd box, what appears to be a
Sony player installed. Very small and narrow box. I need help. Let me
know.

Thank you

The 5500 uses the same manual as the 6000, which is avalable from
Always Jukin' or myself. I have one original 5500 manual that I could
make a photocopy of if you want. Does your machine have a membrane or
hard button keybank?
To make a selection you pick 4 digits, the first two is the CD number,
the second two is the track number. For example 5th song on third CD is
0305. Choosing 00 as last two digots will play entire CD.
To select a CD it must be mapped -learned- by the computer. Otherewise
you will get an ERR or the first digit- if nothing in that group of ten
is in memory- will not react. Give me a call between 7pm and 11pm EST
at 215-637-2869, while you are standing in front of the jukebox, and I
will explain how to map, or buy the manual. Note the service manual is
not for technical repairs, it is for operation of the machine. There
nis no technical manual.
I don't know about the Sony player, they came from the factory with a
Phillips player, yours could be a CDm-3 or CDM-4 or been updated to a
CDM-12 or PRO. If it is a Sony player, it's an aftermarket set up and
good luck trying to get it repaired.
