That might be a bit difficult as IIRC the credits are stepped down
by operation of the motor on the back of the button bank, and not
electrically
The credit unit is behind the button bank.

IIRC as the pulse generator motor does a complete cycle after you make
a selection,
the credit wheel is stepped down by a lever following a cam driven
from the pulse motor.
The buttons are mechanically latched and released also by a lever
coming from off a cam
driven by this motor, there is no latch bar coil

You need to observe this in operation and find it by looking to see
what part
moves to push the credit wheel backwards, and somehow remove, move it
or tie it
out of the way so it can never touch the credit wheel teeth, and
remove credit.

Another easier method worth trying first would be to find the brass
rivet that the motor wiper arm sits on
when at rest - and the button bank not latched in (no credit). Ground
this rivet, and make sure
you determine ground with a meter, as black does not necessarily mean
ground in these machines.

This procedure will make sure that the motor never "rests" at this
position, but moves forward to the
"make selection" position, which is the next rivet. This is where it
normally goes when a credit is
available
