India Question

Recently I browsed the Internet for something else, but came across this
interesting item

They are supposed to be issued 1965 and/or 1966 and depict allegedly panels
from the Ajanta Caves and the Elephanta Caves in India. I simply cannot find
them in the cats, neither Gibbons nor Scott. I have asked the owner of the
website where I found them, but he doesn't know!! Can anyone out there shed
any light on their ID please?

Hi Mette.

Both the Ajanta and the Trimurti were issued on August 15, 1949
perforated 13.5x14.0. Similar imperforate copies in my collection -
mint with no gum - are cut-squares from postal stationary of the time.
If your copies have gum, then I'm afraid I have no idea what they are.
