HIGH GRADE SILVER BRONZE MARVEL CGC BOOKS CLOSE THIS WEEK!

The countdown begins as we approach the close of some of the nicest CGC books W. R. Collectibles has offered so far this year. It's all part of our Valentines celebration where we've listed more than 125 Marvel comics covering Silver, Bronze, and Modern age titles including Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. There's excellent representation of all periods. The big books begin closing on Wednesday with a grouping of five Amazing Spider-Man issues from the Silver and early Bronze age featuring ASM #85 in CGC 9.6! Thursday's closings include 3 late Bronze X-men issues (#102, #104, and #106) all graded CGC 9.8- the highest currently on the CGC comic census! Friday's auctions conclude with a mix of mid to late Silver period books and an X-Men #94 CGC 9.0 to round off the week. The best part is all these featured auctions have NO RESERVES! AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 19 CGC 9.0, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white. Stan Lee story with Steve Ditko cover and artwork. Appearances from The Human Torch, The Enforcers, and Sandman. Currently at $380.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 33 CGC 8.0, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white. Steve Ditko artwork. Appearance from Doctor Octopus. Date stamp on back cover. Currently at $128.50.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 38 CGC 4.5, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are cream to off-white. This was the last issue to feature Steve Ditko artwork on the Amazing Spider-Man title and also features the second appearance of Mary Jane Watson as a cameo (face not shown) as well as the intro of Norman Osborne (although at this time it is not revealed he is the Green Goblin). Overstreet value at $50, this is an incredible steal at $21.99!

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 85 CGC 9.6, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white to white. Stan Lee story with John Romita Sr cover art and pages by John Romita Sr., John Buscema, and Jim Mooney. A true collector's book, this is indeed an excellent example and is 1 of only 10 graded 9.6 by CGC out of 64 submitted. THERE ARE NO ISSUES GRADED HIGHER! The GEM of Wednesday's auctions currently at $251.50!

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 98 CGC 9.4, NO RESERVE! Interior pages are off-white. Gil Kane cover and artwork. A highly prized element of any ASM collection this issue along with #96 and #97 contained storylines involving the drug addiction of Harry Osborne that was not approved by the Comics Code Authority as well as another epic battle against the Green Goblin. This is the conclusion of that arc and is a must have in a beautiful 9.4 NM grade. Currently at $172.50!
