That's the part number of the R90 Shop Manual that I have. It has 73
11 x 17 pages that are double sided!

The lamp driver stuff is only two pages: a schematic on one page and a
parts list on the other.

They probably only made one shop manual for each "revision". *Maybe
had updates sent out for changes in the models.

PARTIAL SUCCESS!!!!

I found another bad diode, replaced and now I have flashing lights!!!!

They flash to a set pattern.

Still cant get to flash to music, if I switch to flash to music, still
flash to set pattern. Adjusting sensitvity has no effect.

Well, 2 out of 3 so far, lights on, flashing, now need the last....

After much digging and looking, it appears that this may be a common
problem with trying to get some schematics for Rowe equipment. Rowe
says that they were put in storage due to space considerations years
ago when they relocated buildings. They gave me the usual list of
possible sources, but no luck.

I got a copy of the schematic for the lamp control 6-09255-03. Is
that the one you have. This is for the R-90 I believe. I was hoping
it was similar to the R-92, but no luck.

The drwg is Fig. 2-7, Lamp Control Assembly (4-07501-03-Q2).

In my experience they don't seem to be interested in helping with
finding faults or providing info.

Usually Emails are ignored, Im surprised that you even got a reply.

Yeh, that's the one I have from the R90 shop manual.

Finally got back to taking a look at this thing. Disassembled and
cleaned the contacts in the selector switch, all looks OK, continuity
checks good. Replaced the 1 megohm sensitivity potentiometer since I
was getting "weird" readings.

Everything still works as it did before, but still no flash to music.

Anyone know the input to the board? I know 2 wires come from the amp,
I wonder if one is a mute circuit as shown in the R90 schematic.

Hopefully get to work on this project this weekend!!!

have a second board to play around with now.
