Greetings Ken. Sept 2008 cover on Jukebox Collector magazine features
a photo of a R1422 that was an advt for Catalin Plastics. Reportedly,
the 1422 plastics are cast resin plastics manufactured by Catalin.

Thanks John .. a bit confused . Does that mean they are made out of
catalin or by a company named catalin ?

Looks like both are correct, Catalin is the product and also the name
of the manufacturer. (American Catalin Corp.), and even better still,
it looks as if they are still operating, and manufacturing catalin
material true to the original process .

Wow . I guess the catalin croud does not know about the catalin on these
jukeboxes .
Have you seen the amounts being paid for little catalin radios ?
