Default Circulation find report - 07/26/03

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to report two nice finds in circulation yesterday (I work at a
retail store and all of the salesmen there use the cash register)....

1) 1945-P Jefferson (silver war nickel), in XF40, and
2) 1917-D Lincoln, in F12.

Not bad for a single day. Usual days net one or two Lincolns in the 40's or
50's, and occasionally a silver Roosevelt or Washington.

Congrats! It's been years since I've found a silver war nickel in
change.

My cousin recently sorted through a huge pile of change (well over
$500-worth) her husband accumulated over the past few years, and there
was only one war nickel in there. IIRC, she did not find any silver
dimes or quarters, and maybe just three wheat cents.
