Default Edmonton Stamp Show - FINISHED? TOO MANY THIEVES!

It seems that the Edmonton Stamp Show, scheduled for April Fool's Day this
year, may be the last one.

They are crying the blues, with not enough pareticipants, due to the ongoing
publicity about all the thieving at the last few years' shows!

With victims of all the thefts filing reports with police, APS, BNAPS as well
as publicising by way of internet, of course sensible people will avoid the
risks of theft.

Now, Keith Spencer can concentrate on his tax fraud schemes,as he testified in
Court about his MONEY LAUNDERING!

Rumors are that this show on April Fools Day will be an economic disaster for
the gang running the show.

A massive boycott by reputable dealers, following extensive publicity by
victims from past shows who had their stock stolen, apparently by "insiders",
and with insurance companies reluctant to insure those stupid enough to
conider going, means that it will hardly be a show this year at all.

Looks like in 2 weeks from now, the end of the Edmonton Stamp Show?
Except this won't be an April Fools joke, but retribution on the thieves at
the Edmonton Stamp Show.

With all the bad press caused by the constant thefts of people's philatelic
treasures, year after year, and all seeming to be "inside" jobs, no wonder
they must plkead for suckers to attend. Otherwise the THIEVES WON"T
HAVE GOOD MATERIAL TO STEAL,AGAIN!!

Then - why all the "foolish" messages if nobody will show up? I think
you need a new bar of soap for your soap box. Or a shower, sir - I
think you're all washed up.

OK - you've got me convinced. I won't be going. I was looking forward
to the drive from North Carolina - probably no more than 60 - 70 hours
on the road. Guess I'll just have to drive to the stamp show in Arizona
unless you have any objections. Hope nobody steals my car. (Insert
emoticon for "sarcasm" here )
