Default Trivia question

Several types of U. S. coins have been discontinued for a time only to be
continued at a later date. How many can you name? Which type holds the
record for being discontinued for the longest time before being remade

Half Cents skipped several years. For the longest period, I'll guess Half
Dimes. None made after 1805 until the next series of them began in 1829.

Peace dollars were discontinued after 1935, remade in 1964.

But there was a change in type from a draped bust to a capped bust.

Yikes! Some numismatist I am! I don't recall ever having heard that before.
Thanks for adding to my knowledge of coins, John.

I would guess the SBA dollar may hold the record......18 years. One year
longer than the Morgan.
