Fee avoidance.
"RF" wrote in message oups.com... Rule? What rule? Show me where eBay has any regulation on what a seller can charge for shipping. You can't be serious but then... Oh that's right, you can't, because it doesn't exist. LOL, seriously this is a troll right? There's no advantage either since any bidder is going to take the shipping charge into mind when deciding what to bid. No, no, ratting to eBay is just a weasly thing to do. How about when someone is listing a counterfeit? |

Please list your eBay ID so I never purchase anything from you, you shmuck! Sir, RF, may I ask your Ebay ID? Thanks, mk |

Reporting to eBay is the proper think to do. Otherwise, the seller who practices fee avoidance can have a nice advantage over other sellers who follow the rules. Rule? What rule? Show me where eBay has any regulation on what a seller can charge for shipping. Oh that's right, you can't, because it doesn't exist. The heading of my original post is a clue, "fee avoidance". Billy |

According to eBay: "Unreasonable shipping or handling costs - The seller may add a reasonable shipping and handling fee to the final price of the item, but may not charge excessive shipping and handling fees, excessive required insurance fees, or excessive (or not applicable) taxes in an effort to make the item appear artificially inexpensive, to avoid eBay fees, or for any other purposes. " Who is to say what's "unreasonable". 3o GPB (almost $60 US) is definitely excessive to send 3 notes a few miles. The wording is so vague as to be legally unenforcable. Even eBay knows it since they state "Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions". Whenever you see the word "may", think idle blather (you should know all about that, I'm sure). So some guy tries to get over on eBay, what do you care? Your turn, Hitler... |
