Collectibles show set for this weekend

The Morning Sun - Pittsburg PA
Posted Oct 30, 2008 @ 12:30 AM

FRONTENAC - Anyone interested in coins, paper money
and other collectibles should be able to get their
fix this weekend.

Between 20 and 30 dealers are expected at a
collector's show put on by the First Baptist Church
and the Pittsburg Coin Club. The show will run from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday at the Frontenac Senior Citizen's Center.

Everything from old baseball cards to gold and silver
bouillon will be viewable and for sale at the show,
and people are encouraged to bring in their own
collectibles or scrap gold. Refreshments will be
served by the First Baptist Church.

The Pittsburg Coin Club celebrated its 50th
anniversary earlier this year, and is looking for
members, especially from younger generations. Anyone
interested in the club can attend the meetings at
7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month in
the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Membership fees are $6 for adults and $3 for children
under the age of 18.

Personally, I prefer beef bouillon. Gold and silver bouillon doesn't
have much taste and is hard to swallow.
