Book Recommendation for Stamp Collection Appraisal

I recently acquired my father's stamp collection. Mostley American
stamps. He had been collecting for the past 30 years. Are there ay
good books out there that I should look at?

Not a book but visit www.virtualstampclub.com and search for "inherited
collection."

Your local library may have the Scott Stamp Catalogs, which has listed
values of stamps.

Also try a Google search for "inherited stamp collection." You'll find
lots of links.
