Several ostentatious xmas displays in Southern California have been
shut down for various reasons, including thievery and traffic jams, I
haven't put up any xmas crap since Dickhead Cheney pulled off the
Enron blackouts of 2000 here. The state had to order people to
curtail xmas light usage, due to supposed severe generation capacity
problems, which turned out to be 99% a fabrication foisted upon the
state by the Texans. They still owe the state's residents over 4.9
BILLION in overcharges, and so far, they have welshed by using legal
trickery. Typical Republicans.
