Pretty sweet. I have never worn a watch except when I was twelve and won a
cheapie for signing up five new subscribers on my paper route. It only told
time for a few months and then conked out. I tried a pocket watch in my
early twenties with equally disappointing results.

Nice breakdown of the 7S26! Although an "entry level" movement,
they're as bulletproof as you can get in an automatic, and low cost to
boot. I have one that has been serviced biannually that's never given
me a moment's grief and is uncannily accurate.

I still wear the Hamilton 927 that's been in my family since new when
I have to doll myself up in my three piece finery for political, union
or social functions. It's accurate to 5 places...as long as you
remember to wind it at the prescibed time! The gold in the case alone
is now worth over $1000 at today's inflated gold price, without the
movement! The movement's rather common, being from 1907, but was one
of Hamilton's more reliable, if not most accurate.
