E-120 Help
i replaced the whole selection control harness due to the old one had
alot of problems. im having problems with the selection. old one didnt work. it seems as though i can get most of the odd numbers to work but the evens dont. didnt think anything mattered except the plugs where they plug into and i thought the only a/b thing was the mechanical linkage on direction of travel. several of the plugs on the new harness had lost there numbers . all help appreciated. thanks norm |

Then you can relabel the connectors (1 - 2 - 3 - 4 as I recall) and at least be sure they are in the correct sockets. This must be done first! E-120 Help
If I understand correctly, I had a similar problem with an F. It was
mechanical-- the bar that gets knocked to the up position (that turns on the carriage motor) was not moving freely on all banks of the pins. It kept the pins from moving, even though the coils were firing like they should. Even numbers were probably not played much since they are B sides. Good cleaning took care of it. Just one bank for testing that bank. The suggestion of a sticky lift bar is accurate - check that!
